music by Ignazio Donati, Francesco Cavalli, Giovanni Battista Buonamente, Ludovico Grossi da Viadana and Francesco Vignali, with the Ensemble Biscantores and the Ensemble UtFaSol, directed by Luca Colombo.
In 1623 Ignazio Donati, maestro di Cappella "della Terra di Casalmaggiore", prints, in the Venetian workshop of Alessandro Vincenti, theSalmi Boscarecci Concertati A Sei Voci, with the addition, if desired, of other six voices, which are used for the concert, and for double Ripieno, to sing to several choirs, and with the main bass for sonar in the organ. Opera "large and numerous to be sung with few, and with many parts in different ways", dedicated "to the Very Illustrious Lords of the Council" of Casalmaggiore, the collection is accompanied by precious "Warnings" which govern the multiple and flexible possibilities of consultation.
